Vita

Dominic M. Dresen is a research assistant at FREY Rechtsanwälte Partnerschaft. After successfully graduating from the commercial high school in Brühl, he studied law at the University of Cologne with a focus on Intellectual Property and Competition.

Mr. Dresen already worked as a student assistant for our law firm since the beginning of his studies before he was employed at the Chair of Constitutional and Administrative Law under Professor Michael Sachs. There, he supported the Institute with publishing scientific publications and preparing lectures as a student assistant.

Since accomplishing the first part of the first state examination in 2019, Mr. Dresen has been working as a research assistant for our law firm.

His working languages are German and English.

Vita

Carl M. Rudolph is working as a research assistant for FREY Rechtsanwälte Partnerschaft. After graduating from high school in Rostock, in October 2016 he started studying law at the University of Cologne.

Mr. Rudolph has been supporting our law firm since the beginning of his studies, initially as a student assistant and since April 2019 as a research assistant.

In addition to his studies and working at Frey Rechtsanwälte, Mr. Rudolph is also a legal advisor at the Corporate Law Clinic e.V. There, he advises start-ups, especially from the technology sector, in their start-up phase on intellectual property issues.

Marie L. Balan is a student assistant at FREY Rechtsanwälte Partnerschaft. After graduating from high school, she studied Language and Communication at the Philipps-University of Marburg and the Universitat de València.

After completing her bachelor's degree, she began studying law at the University of Cologne in October 2018. Ms. Balan was already working as a student assistant at the law firm Dr. Kiock und Buntenbroich at the beginning of her studies and has now been supporting our team since September 2019.

She speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
