Veronika Frey studied law at the University of Trier, specializing in international and European law. After her second state examination, she worked from 1996 to 2000 at the European Commission, the Rhineland-Palatinate State Representation and then as Legal Council of Bertelsmann AG in Brussels. Her consulting activities focused primarily on copyright, press, media and European law as well as the representation of interests vis-à-vis European institutions.

During her years of work at Deutsche Telekom AG (as well as T-Online International AG), Mrs. Frey held various leading positions until 2013. Her main areas of responsibility included legal, regulatory and strategic consulting for the management and business as well as the area of Public Affairs & Government Relations. She was also responsible for the corporate profiling division within the department of strategic corporate communications for Deutsche Telekom AG and, most recently, communication officer for the Member of Board of Management responsible for Human Resources.

Before becoming a self-employed lawyer, Mrs. Frey headed the Supervisory Board office of TÜV Rheinland AG from 2013 to 2015.

Mrs. Frey has in-depth corporate and industry knowledge in the fields of ICT, media and services. She also works as a systemic coach in an advisory capacity.

Mrs. Frey is working as Of Counsel for Frey Rechtsanwälte since 2016.

Her working languages are German, English and French.
